This year at NAB, OpenCube will present a full range of easy-to-use and reasonably priced solutions with expanded capabilities: !NEW! XFConverter v1.1: This new version of XFConverter seamlessly connects heterogeneous systems by directly converting format wrappers without modifying their essence. The software enables users to switch between MXF, GXF, Quicktime, and AVI. The new version update is also fully compatible with editing systems such as Avid. MXFTk® version 2.1: the new OpenCube MXF Toolkit. The OEM SDK offers MXF file VBI, Avid MXF file management, and improved HD essence handling capabilities, in particular with P2 MXF AVC-I and XDCam MXF Mpeg2 HD supports. XFReader v2.1: The essence-agnostic MXF and GXF viewer for Windows, which permits the browsing of any media files on graphics and SDI screens, has now been adapted to work with the HD and SD Decklink boards, providing users with an efficient, cost-effective solution for transforming their PCs into MXF HD SDI players. !NEW! to be demonstrated: P2Soft v2.0, a simple and powerful tool to ingest SD & HD MXF P2 files. The new product release offers a wide range of features for the viewing of HD video and ingest into video systems (such as Avid equipment, for example). The SD and HD Ingest and DDR video server line will also be available at our booth for demonstration: OpenCubeHD DDR version v2.1 is able to generate DCP MXF files with Jpeg2K encoding (DCI compliance). These new features will allow Post houses and Digital Labs with OpenCubeHD to add DCP creation to their existing offer. OpenCubeSD v2.1 gateways offer VDCP control protocols, Mpeg2 SD encoding and review, and Jpeg2k encoding within MXF Op1a file formats, which are rapidly emerging as the master format for production and SDTV archive migration.
