OPENCUBE SELECTED AS RADIANTGRID TECHNOLOGIES PREFERRED PARTNER FOR MXF TECHNOLOGIES

RadiantGrid Technologies has selected the MXF Toolkit developed by OpenCube Technologies for their MXF support.

Seattle WA, USA & TOULOUSE, France - February 11^th, 2009 - OpenCube Technologies, a world-class MXF specialist, announces that it has proceeded with an OEM agreement with RadiantGrid Technologies, leading-edge media workflow services supplier. The RadiantGrid Platform^TM supports all major broadcast file formats as a source for transcoding and media transformation, and can now offer customers OpenCube's standards-compliant, efficient, and robust MXF Toolkit as a core component.

Many studios and broadcasters are moving to MXF as a container for archival essence formats, such as JPEG2000.  By integrating the OpenCube MXF Toolkit, RadiantGrid was able to support transcoding from archival MXF formats into editing and online formats, such as Avid DNxHD and H.264, faster than real-time, using RadiantGrid's grid-enabled transcoding technologies.
